5 Lifestyle Changes I NEED To Make This Year

Some things in my life, and maybe yours too, are not how I want them to be and they need to be changed and thrown in the bin never to come back again. I want some major lifestyle changes this year and to go back to my healthier and happier self.

6 Things I'm Already Loving in 2018

I've started this year in a positive way already so I'm hopeful that this year will be soooo much better than 2017. 2017 wasn't the best year for me, even though I did travel to some pretty amazing places, meet lovely people and live in China for a year, there were some hiccups along the way which I'd love to move on from and forget. I want a big change in 2018 and there's already a few little changes/additions that have left me feeling happy.

Luxury Christmas Gift Guide 2017

Whether you have a lot of people to buy for, or just a couple, it can be quite a hectic time to try and think of various presents to suit peoples needs, why do we put ourselves through so much stress? There are so many shops online and on the high street to find a range of gifts, from days out to luxury items for the home or to fit a person's hobby. I have put together a luxury gift guide for women, with some bits for men too, and an affordable gift guide (coming soon after this one) to fit everyone's budgets. People may prefer to buy a few smaller gifts than one big gift, so the affordable gift guide may come a little more useful to you. Obviously I have only selected a few bits and bobs from some categories but I thought there was a little something for all women in this, including a few personal favourites.

50 Questions I've Never Answered

You know you're out of blog post ideas when you have to google a trending post, AM I RIGHT? I'm actually not out of ideas, just out of motivation to write all the posts I have on my notes - I literally have 2 months worth of ideas but where are you motivation??

10 Happy Things

There's a few things that can lift my mood in minutes and I'm so grateful for them. I need that boost every now and then to realise what I have around me and how lucky I am.

I'm happy to be back at university, I'm ready to get back into work mode, I've returned to my normal blogging schedule and happy with the posts I'm writing. Sticking to this positivity state, I thought I'd mention a few things that have made me happy recently or that always make me happy.

Spending Quality Time with Yourself

Freeing up time to sort yourself out, focus on yourself, laze around, or perhaps doing some other work is very important as it allows you to have a 'time out' from your family and friends and also your 9-5 working life.

Birthday Gift Haul || What I got for my 21st

My birthday has passed, I'm a year older (it's still sinking in that I'm now 21) and so blessed by all the gifts and cards I received from family and friends. I mainly got money that I asked for so I could save for future and the rest were absolute surprises (apart from one or two things) which I am all obsessing over.

Unmotivated and Frustrated

It's been roughly two weeks since I blogged. I'm not saying that is a good thing or a bad thing; a break is always needed from time to time. However, I say to myself that it is a bad thing because I don't really have any excuses to why I haven't been drawn to the blogging scene.

7 'Out of the Ordinary' Things I Want to Experience

Ok they may not be very 'out of the ordinary', but it's not your typical "climb a mountain"...they are quite specific and different. Some of these I've wanted to do for a while and some are only recently new to the list.
I would love to say I've ticked all these experiences off by the time I'm 30, a little optimistic but let's see how well I get on!

Life Lately || Returned Home, Family Reunion, Sister's Graduation

It's been a week since I flew home...a week?! It feels like forever; did I even leave? It is really surprising how little changed in a year. I've had a pretty full on week and it's been non-stop. Lots has already happened this week which is probably why it's flown by and I am a day behind everyone else. I keep thinking it's the day before (so today would be Friday for me when it's actually Saturday, annoying right?)
Another thing that has really hit me is how little time I have to connect with everyone on social media. It was actually a lot easier when I was 8 hours ahead, I'll hopefully have more time when I finish work this July; even scheduling tweets is hard to remember.
I am just beginning to get over jet lag and adjusting back into my sleeping pattern, although I still struggle to make it past 10pm.

Needing a Change of Lifestyle

Which lifestyle you ask? Where you go our clubbing and drinking 3 nights a week, get home at 5am or later and wake up with terrible hangovers...that life and I'm over it now. The past 2 months I've been alcohol free and it feels great and I DON'T miss it. To be honest, I've been disliking alcohol for about a year now, I have to be in the right mood to get ready to go out for the night. Apart from the odd cocktail now and then (because I can't say no to a delicious cosmo), I could go on with my life without it.

My Summer Plans

I'm taking this summer to chill out and relax. I haven't had a summer where I've been in the UK the whole time for a longgggg time, about 10 years I think, so it will be weird but quite nice not having to pack or get ready for a holiday (having said that, I wouldn't mind a holiday haha).
I said I can't wait to chill out and relax this summer but that's not exactly what my whole summer entails. Sadly, I do have a job to go back to for the rest of July, but I'm free from it the whole of August as I am planning on quitting my job as a lifeguard, after three years of working as one. This means I have August to sit back and enjoy a quiet summer before the chaos of my final year at university kicks in.

25 Things to do Before I am 25

Why 25 you ask? I think 25 is the age where you start to pursue your career, you're settling down and thinking about what the future holds. I'm still unsure what I want my future to look like but I have a good idea what I want to do before I start my "adulthood".

The Liebster Award

A reason why the blogging community is one of the best is because of the love and loyalty that is shared around. I am so happy to be a part of it and it's little things like being nominated for this award which can give you the motivation to keep going and showing your blog off to the world.

Get to Know Me

Apart from the obvious signs from my blog which you know about me, I haven't properly given some facts about me. I have quite a different past to some people so get ready for a shock! Some of these are hidden in posts but thought it would be easier to put them all in one place :)

If you didn't know already from my blog, instagram, twitter etc., I am currently living in Shanghai, China for a year. I am on my year abroad and have my final year at university coming up in September...ready to freak out any day now.

I used to live in Taiwan. When I was younger, my family and I moved to Taiwan for my Dad's job for 4 years. To this day, I want to go back and live there. This is the reason to why I am in Shanghai right now studying Chinese.

Already in my life, I have moved houses 8 times with my family AND lived in 11 different accommodations, including university.

I have an older sister, 22, who also studies Chinese at university and lived in Shanghai last year for her year abroad. She is coming to visit me for 3 weeks in June!

I work at Marlborough College, the same college which Kate Middleton and Jack Whitehall went to.

Zoe and Joe Sugg used to live in the same county as me, they actually lived in the same town my mother now works in, which is only 20 minutes away.

I am grade 6 in piano, and hopefully will be seeing my favourite pianist, Ludovico Einaudi, next month in Shanghai.

In the last year, from last March to now, I have travelled to 8 countries and 25 cities/towns within those countries.

*inserts embarrassing story* When I was younger, I got my head stuck in a radiator. I know right, how is that possible?! Well, I have no idea.

Only a few things I could think of but that's me and some things you probably didn't know before.

What are some strange/funny facts about you? Let's get to know each other!
